The flap of the Dressage model is straighter to be ridden with a long leg. The addition of 5 rings on the back & sides of the cantle in addition to the from breastplate rings gives this saddle the name “trail”. Great attachment areas for cantle packs or water bottle holders for convenience on the trail. As with the English trail the seat shape provides the rider with support on the upper thigh – similar to what an Australian saddle would offer, but not to the same degree. The knee roll is average to full with a moveable knee block attached under the knee roll. This model is best suited to riders who have a short hip to knee length, like a tighter, deeper seat or would like to ride with a longer leg in the dressage arena or on the trail. All of our Sensation Ride saddles may mate with commonly available accessories, such as hunt breastplate, dressage girth & standard shaped saddle pad. In order to experience the best that the Sensation Ride saddles have to offer, Sensation has designed accessories which mate perfectly to the saddles & are available to be shipped along with the saddles. The Sensation Ride English styled saddles have in common some unique features, which we feel provides the rider with a greater degree of adjustability & customization for the saddle. • 3 options for stirrup leather hanging • Hard-use – the saddle comes equipped with this set-up. This is a feature which shares stirrup loading throughout the whole saddle. • Free swing – The rider may use their own English 1” stirrup leathers. Ideal for children, short legged riders & lighter riders. • Endurance – An optional stirrup leather with maximizes weight distribution. For Riders 5’6” & taller. • Easy do-it-yourself replacement & repair. • Restuffing of the cantle is often necessary after a period of use, if the shape or density has changed in the cantle. This is easily done without the aid of a professional through the access slit. • “Restuffing” of the panel area of the saddle. The panels of the Sensation saddles are made from a die-cut poly felt. These felt panels may be removed & replaced without the help of a saddler through the access slit in the underside of the saddle. • Replacement seats. The seats of the saddles are made from soft leather for comfort. In time, the seats may show excess wear. Replacement seats can be purchased. Replacement is simple with Velcro. • Shapeable seats. • With the aid of bolsters & placement of the stirrup leather base, the rider can alter the shape of the seat to suit. This is particularly beneficial when more than 1 size of rider is using the same saddle. • The seats of all the Sensation Ride saddles will break in & mold to the rider’s form – making it feel custom – fitted. This takes about 10-15 hours of riding.

Front rings are hidden beneath the seat at the front for attachment of a breastplate if desired. This saddle is show legal :) This model is best suited to riders who have a short hip to knee length, like a tighter, deeper seat or would like to ride with a longer leg in the dressage arena or on the trail. The small footprint of this saddle suits short-backed horses particularly well. A 3.5” tall, wrap around cantle provides a feeling of security for the rider’s seat, while the upright 12” swells provide greater thigh freedom without compromising security. The rigging of this saddle is a dropped 3 billet system. This type of rigging has proven to be more adaptable & lower profile than the traditional western plate/ring rigging. The rider may use any of the 3 billets as a lower attachment for the stirrup leather anchor, making the stirrup position very adjustable. Longer length dressage girths would be used with this saddle. The Western Sport Trail features 9 rings as standard equipment. This includes rings to accommodate both western & English breastplates, as well as rings for crupper & saddle packs. This model is suited to any riders who appreciate a western look & feel to their saddle & wish to have a very lightweight western option. The 13” wide swell of the Hybrid replaces the pommel of the other English models. The cantle of the hybrid is significantly wider & 1” taller than the other English versions. The flap on the Hybrid is available standard as a dressage shaped flap designed for a longer leg position. The Hybrid trail, having a swell, offers a rider a feeling similar to what a Western saddle would offer, The knee roll is average to full with a moveable knee block attached under the knee roll.
